This card is designed by Nancy Overton, graduate of the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland California, class of 1965. She designed stitchery kits for many years while she was the New Product Director at Sunset Designs. She traveled to China to work with Creative Design developing a line of ribbons, bows and floral designs and designed everything from stuffed animals to fabric food to T-shirt kits and children's chairs. Paper became her medium of choice some twenty years ago, and she collects ephemera at garage and estate sales, using sheet music, stamps and old recipes for both collages and 3-D birds. Overton lives with her rescue dog, Bob, overlooking the East Bay Regional Park, on the edge of the Hayward Fault in Oakland, California.
