    When will my online order from the OMCA Store be shipped?

    OMCA Store ships every Wednesday and Friday, except on major US holidays. All orders are shipped UPS Ground unless otherwise indicated. Please allow 7–10 business days for ground delivery. We will contact you in the event of a delay. A valid US address is required. Please note that we cannot ship to P.O. boxes.

    Can I pay for expedited shipping?

    For expedited shipping, please call the OMCA Store at (510) 318-8510 from Wednesday through Sunday 11 am–5 pm PST.

    Does the OMCA Store ship to countries outside of the US?

    Please call the OMCA Store at (510) 318-8510 from Wednesday through Sunday 11 am–5 pm PST to discuss international orders. Shipping rates are calculated based on the weight of the order and its destination. Shipping discounts and flat rate shipping do not apply. Some oversized items may not be able to be shipped to an international address. Shipments outside the United States may also be subject to additional tariffs, duties, or other non-routine customs brokerage charges that are the responsibility of the RECIPIENT due upon delivery.


    Can I return a product I purchased on OMCA's online store?

    If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return the merchandise for a replacement, exchange or full refund within 30 days of receipt of goods. All sale items are non-returnable.

    Returns will only be accepted with receipt and in resalable condition in the original packaging. Gifts returned without an original sales receipt are eligible for store credit at the current store price less 10% restocking fee.  Credit will be issued on the credit card used for the original item(s). Shipping costs are non-refundable. Customers pay return shipping cost except for the case that damaged or incorrect items were shipped. We will also happily accept returns and exchanges on-site at the OMCA Store.

    What happens if my order is incorrect?

    For damaged merchandise please take photographs of damaged items and packaging and email them to store@museumca.org within 5 days of receipt to get credit or replacement

    If your package is missing any items or if you receive the wrong items, please call or email us as soon as possible so that we can provide a replacement.  We can be reached at 510-318-8510 during Store hours—Wednesday through Sunday, 11 am–5 pm PST.  Please contact us at store@museumca.org for instructions before returning any items by mail. 

    Becoming an OMCA Store vendor

    How can I submit a product to be carried in the OMCA Store?

    Thank for your interest in submitting product for consideration to be carried in the OMCA shop!

    We are primarily interested in adding products that are made in California, especially the Bay Area, and have a strong connection with our Mission, Special Exhibitions, Gallery of California Art, Gallery of California History, Gallery of California Natural Sciences, and Gardens.  If you feel that it is not immediately obvious how your products are connected, please feel free to explain in your email.

    Due to the high volume of product submissions we are not able to reply to everyone, but we do keep your information on file as our needs change frequently.

    Since images and information are crucial to our decision making process, email is the only form of contact through which we consider product submissions. No phone calls or walk-ins please. 

    Please understand that unsolicited samples delivered to the museum store cannot be stored or returned.

    To submit your product for consideration, send an email to store@museumca.org and include all of the following information:

    • Your name, company name, and contact information
    • Images and description of your products including materials, where products are produced and by whom if not you.
    • A link to your website and/or instagram page, plus a list of other websites or stores where you products are sold.
    • Price range, both retail and wholesale
    • Minimum order amount, if applicable
