This is an original sculptured metal poster (Mixed Media Plaque) to commemorate the grand opening of the Oakland Museum in 1969. Stamped from a piece of brass,inset with cast aluminum and vacuum-formed plastic, the 20.5 by 27 inch poster of sculptured metal needs no additional framing and is ready to be hung.
The design of this metal print was a gift by Voulkos to the Oakland Museum. This is from the first edition of 500 with signature impression and blue plastic border. Signed by artist. Still in original packaging.
